What kind of yogurt should I use?
Whole milk is preferable for this yogurt sauce with mint, however Lebanese Labneh will work just fine if you don’t mind it being quite a bit thicker. Can you use Greek yogurt? Yes, but my preference is plain whole milk yogurt.

How to make mint and yogurt sauce:
In a medium sized mixing bowl, take 1/2 of a cup of plain whole milk yogurt and mix in 1 tablespoon of dried mint (or 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint), garlic and salt.
If you desire it to be thicker, more of a spread or Lebanese dip, then use Lebanese Labneh.

A common way to eat Lebanese yogurt sauce is to eat it as a dip with veggies, or as a dressing for Lebanese Cucumber Salad. It can also be a great yogurt mint sauce for lamb or shawarma as well. - ½ teas Salt
- ¾ teas Garlic Powder
